Yesterday was my husband Birthday, I Made this Cake for Him...


Chocolate Strawberry Cake




Chocolate Strawberry Cake, We can divide procedure in four Steps.

Basic Chocolate Cake




Ingredients:

  1. Refined Flour: 2 Cup
  2. Milk Powder : 1 Cup
  3. Baking Powder: 2 tsp
  4. Baking Soda: 1.5 tsp
  5. Eggs: 3 Nos
  6. Butter : 1 Cup
  7. Condense Milk : 1/2 Cup
  8. Milk : as required
  9. Cocoa Powder: 1 Cup
  10. Melted Dark Chocolate: 1Cup
  11. Fine Sugar: 1 Cup
  12. Rum Essence: 1 tsp
Procedure:
  1. Preheat the Oven on 180 C .
  2. Grease the Cake tin with Butter and dust with refined flour.
  3. Sieve twice Flour, Cocoa Powder, Milk Powder, Baking Powder and Baking Soda together in a bowl.Keep Aside.
  4. Beat Butter, Sugar and eggs till fluffy and creamy in another Bowl.
  5. Slowly Mix the sieved flour mixture and beaten eggs.
  6. Add Melted Dark Chocolate, Condense Milk and Rum Essence in it Mix it.
  7. Add Milk to make smooth batter and mix  by cut and fold method.
  8. Pour the Cake batter in to greased tin and bake at 180 C at lower rack for 40 to 45 Minutes. Allow it to Cool.
  9. Once it came on room temperature scrape upper part and Cut cake in three layers. as shown in pic below.



Strawberry Icing:




Ingredients:
  1. Whipping Cream : 2 Cup
  2. Cream Cheese : 1 tbs
  3. Fine Sugar: 1 tbs
  4. Strawberry Essence : 1 tsp
  5. Fresh Strawberry big : 5 nos
Procedure:
  1. Place a metal mixing bowl and metal whisk in to freezer for 15 to 20 mins.
  2. Place the Sugar into Mixing Bowl and add whipping Cream, Strawberry essence and Cream cheese, Whisk just until the cream reaches stiff peaks. keep aside in freeze.
  3. Coarsely Chop Strawberries, Heat Pan add chopped strawberries and 2 tsp Sugar and saute it for 3 mins on medium flame. Keep aside and allow it to cool.
  4. Making Sugar syrup, Heat 2 tbs sugar in 1/2 cup Water in microwave for 50 secs . add 1/6 tsp Strawberry essence in it.keep it aside.
Chocolate Ganache Frosting


Ingredients:
  1. Dark Semisweet Chocolate, Chopped : 250 gms
  2. Heavy Cream: 1 cup
  3. Salt: 1/6 tsp
  4. Butter: 1 tbs 
Procedure:
  1. Place Chocolate in Bowl.
  2. In Saucepan, bring the cream to a bare simmer.
  3. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate, add salt and let stand for 2 mins.
  4. Whisk until melted and smooth.
  5. Add butter for glaze, and whisk it for 5 mins.
Assembling Cake:




Procedure:
  1. Place one layer of cake on Parchment Paper.
  2. Soak Bottom slice by using sugar syrup.
  3. Take a bowl and mix Whipping cream and crushed strawberries and spread it on bottom slice of Cake.
  4. Cover with Middle slice, and repeat step 2 and 3. 
  5. Cover with Top Slice, and pour Chocolate Ganache frosting on it and spread it uniformly on full cake
  6. Pour 1/2 cup Melted White Chocolate, and by fork make any design.
  7. Garnish with Strawberries and Whipped cream.   
Yummy Cake is ready........
