Nutty Spicy Bharwa Bhindi


Bhindi is one of my favorite vegetable.
Today I made Bhindi Sabzi with combination of different flavors together.

Believe me it came out amazing......

It was Spicy, Sweet, Sour and Nutty

Nutty Spicy Bharwa Bhindi


Ingredients:
  1. Okra(Bhindi) : 1 Kg
  2. Garlic Cloves: 4 nos
  3. Chickpea Flour (Besan): 2 tbs
  4. Sesame Seeds(Tilli): 1.5 tbs
  5. Roasted Peanut Powder(Mungfali): 2 tbs
  6. Fennel Seeds(Saunf): 1 tsp
  7. Cumin (Jeera): 1 tsp
  8. Mustard Seeds(Raai): 1 tsp
  9. Coriander Powder (Dhana Pud): 1 tbs
  10. Dry Mango Powder(Amchur) : 3 tsp
  11. Garam Masala: 1.5 tsp
  12. Dry Ginger Powder(Sunth): 1 tsp
  13. Asafoetida (Hing): 1/2 tsp
  14. Red Chilly Powder : As per taste
  15. Salt: As per taste
  16. Sugar: As per taste
  17. Grated Coconut: 1/4 th Cup
  18. Finely Chopped Coriander: 1/4 th Cup
  19. Cooking Oil: 2 tbs

Procedure:
Stuffing:
  1. Heat 1 tbs Oil in Pan.
  2. Add Jeera and Raai allow it to split.
  3. Add finely chopped Garlic and saute it til it become golden brown.
  4. Add Sesame Seeds and Asafoetida wait til become yellow.
  5. Sprinkle Besan in Pan and roast it on low flame.
  6. Add Roasted Peanut Powder and saute around 1 min.
  7. Add all Masalas ( Serial No 9,10,11,12 and 14) and saute it again.
  8. last add fine Sugar and Salt as per taste.
  9. Stuffing is ready, keep it aside and allow it to cool.
Bharva Bhindi:


  1. Gently fill Stuffing in Bhindi.
  2. Heat 1 tbs of Oil in Pan.
  3. Now place all stuffed Bhindies in Pan.
  4. Add little Haldi and Salt.
  5. Allow it to cook on low flame around 10 mins.
  6. Gently Toss stuffed Bhindies 2 to 3 times.
  7. Garnish with Coconut and Coriander .
  8. Serve with Hot Parathas, Chapatis or Tandoori Roti with Onion Tomato Salad and Papad .
