Vegetables stir fry in Sweet and Sour Black Pepper Sauce


Sometimes I just crave a full plate of pretty colorful vegetables. Vegetable stir fry is easy to make.
If we ate vegetables of every color of the rainbow, we would stay as healthy as anything. This is the perfect way to ensure you get more than your five a day.Vegetable stir-fry is a healthy recipe that you can alter to include the vegetables that are in season or what ever you have left in the fridge.
Black pepper provides a different kind of heat than chile peppers, but people who are sensitive to spices may still find this too hot. So start with the lesser amount of black pepper and add more to taste.I tried Sweet and Sour Black Pepper Sauce, it can dilute the hotness of black pepper and awesomely goes with hot Steamed Lemon Grass flavor Rice.

One more funny fact is I was suffering from cold, this is the best recipe for tasteless tongue.

Vegetable Stir Fry in Sweet and Sour Black Pepper Sauce



Serves: 3 portion
Preparation Time:10 mins
Cooking time: 10 to 15 mins


Ingredients:
  1. Baby Corn  : 6 nos
  2. Red Bell Pepper : 1 (Big) no
  3. Onion : 2 nos
  4. Long Beans : 4 to 5 nos
  5. Broccoli : 150 gms
  6. Carrot: 2 nos
  7. Pak Choi( broken in to leaves) : 2 nos
  8. Garlic Cloves (finely chopped) : 5 nos
  9. Ginger (finely chopped) : 1 inch
  10. Black pepper : 10 to 12 nos
  11. Sweet Soya Sauce : 1 tbs
  12. Vinegar : 1 tsp
  13. Corn Starch : 1 tbs
  14. Tomato Sauce : 1/2 tbs
  15. Salt : as per test
  16. Sesame Oil : 1 tbs
Procedure:
  1. Cut Onion and Red Bell Pepper in square shape.
  2. Cut Long Beans and Baby Corn 1 inch long and Carrot in 1/2 inch cubes
  3. Heat the oil in a wok and fry garlic until it goes lightly brown, then add the onion and fry for 3 minutes. 
  4. Add the Red Bell Pepper, ginger, broccoli florets,Carrot, Baby Corn and Long Beans and continue to fry for a further 5 minutes
  5. Add the Pak Choi toss to mix in for a further 2 minutes.
  6. In Other pan Roast Black Pepper and crush it
  7. Add the soy sauces to the skillet, along with Crushed Black Pepper, now add tomato Sauce and vinegar and stir it.
  8. Take 1 tbs of corn starch in bowl and add 1.5 Cup water in it and dissolve it properly to avoid lump formation.
  9. Now add Corn Starch solution in Soya Sauce Mixture and stir it uniformly and cook it for 2 mins.
  10. Pour Sweet and Sour black pepper sauce on stir fried vegetables and add salt as per taste and cook it around 2 to 3 mins on high flame.
  11. Serve hot with Steamed lemon grass flavored Rice.

Note: I used Sesame Oil, You can use any other oil of your choice and can add any Vegetables/Tofu/Paneer
